I would like to welcome you to my new blog, the Danube Gaming Journal. If you're wondering about the name, I'll just say that I'm a Hungarian (actually half) who wholesomely embraces his heritage and leave it at that.
Anyway, you are probably here either because I asked you to come take a look or because you are looking for a well-written blog about video games. I will certainly do my best to deliver if you are of the latter camp. For those in the former, I hope you enjoy.
I have been looking forward to doing something like this for a long time. The bulk of this blog will be reviews and my random ramblings on recent video game news. If anyone has requests for a game that I should review (new or retro), I will definitely listen to those.
My current console and handheld lineup consists of a PS2, a Nintendo Wii, a Sega Dreamcast, an NES, a DS Lite and a Game Boy Color. Just to let you know what to watch out for, I have been playing Final Fantasy 9 on the PS2 and Legend of Zelda: Windwaker on the Wii. I try to have a lot of variety in my games, so I hope I'm not disappointing anyone with these current selections.
If you find this, please follow me, as I will try to post as regularly as I can. Also, invite your friends because I'd like a decent reader base! I hope you enjoy this. I can't wait to see the feedback.
